I was given a pocket watch to work on. What was wrong? Well, the glass fell off and the hand broke.
The glass falling off is a common problem. As the glass is made of plastic it can become brittle and shring. Not a problem to fix.
A less common problem is the hour hand snapping, for what ever reason. This is a slightly more difficult fix, but totally doable in certain situations. As I did with this one!!!
Before

After.

No glue was involved during the process of this repair.
A little clean up and it's ready to be fitted back on the watch, ready to run another day.
