Gents Gucci - New Movement, new crown and a complimentary reseal.

Just to highlight the importance of a certain amount of upkeep, we have this Gucci Bi-Colour gents watch.

It came in a bit worn and torn, and had some slight water ingress (amongst other things). This was due to a crown that had deteriated over time, therefore losing its efficiency.

The stem was so rusty the stem snapped when I tried to unscrew the crown.

As you can see from the underside of the dial, it's pretty bad in there. I cleaned off as much debris as I could, but the dial is badly stained. At least it's clean of debris.

The dial had a bit of damage on the batons.

I polished the batons the best I could very carefully.

Then it was time to reassemble and test for water resistance. Another watch safe to wear another day!
